How about posting some recipes from Basil Bandwagon’s very own chef- Chris? Now that winter is here, nothing is more comforting that homemade soup. Chris recently made a Gluten free, Lemon Chicken Orzo soup. It was Ah-Mazing!! And your pastry chef, Alexandra? Her creations satisfies anyone with a sweet tooth!

So disappointed in Basil Bandwagon for the facade of these “healthy” that really are unhealthy recipes that are NOT whole food, plant-based healthy eating. Ugggh!

Hi, Helen! We aren’t just a plant-based store, though. We support healthy diets of all sorts. We have a lot of vegan and plant based options and recipes: we have featured many in our cooking videos, and our cafe is packed with options. But we also get requests from people who are seeking out Paleo options and local, humanely-raised meat sources. This post was intended to offer some inspiration for people who are, perhaps, new to eating healthy- some people aren’t ready to be raw vegans. Some just need to think about cutting out convenience and fast food- and we don’t want to exclude anyone from seeking out better alternatives for their health.
